We have built a flexible Framework that we use with all clients and can mould to suit each client’s needs.
We start with the baseline to ensure that the foundation is there and that there are no issues with regulated requirements or future audits and finance due diligences post a fundraise (debt or equity).

What does partnering with Fast Growth Consulting look like?
We start all our engagements ensuring we have a thorough understanding of our client’s business. Through review of your current financial frameworks and meetings with key stakeholders, we assess the current situation and priorities and map out an estimated timeframe for implementing our framework. Generally, we partner with businesses for 12 – 18 months when we transition in an in-house Finance Director or CFO that we helped recruit in-house.
Throughout the engagement, we hold weekly or bi-weekly meetings with company Founders and senior finance staff to keep all parties up to speed.

What is the process for hiring Fast Growth Consulting as our Fractional CFO?
The first step is scheduling a call with Alysha to make sure that our services and framework are a good fit for your business’s needs. If we are a good fit, the rest of the process for kicking off the engagement is outlined below:
Post contract signing, we will send you a short questionnaire that will cover your Company and Financial information
We will organise a kick-off meeting whereby we can get an understanding of your current situation and priorities
We schedule a weekly or bi-weekly 30 min check in meeting with one of your Founders as well as regular catch ups with your most senior finance member
From there, we start the due diligence and work through the priorities we have established with you
How quickly can you implement your entire framework?
The speed at which the Framework can be delivered is dependent on the existing Finance team and the quality of the existing processes. Our engagement with businesses is generally for 12 – 18 months and we usually handover to a Finance Director / CFO that we helped to recruit in-house. However, this can all be discussed in the initial call – as not all businesses are the same.
How do we transition to our own Finance Director or CFO?
At some point, the business will require a FD / CFO full-time. We will discuss with you when we feel that the workload requires that additional support.
Sometimes a Head of Finance can be recruited, and we can support them in their leadership role and potentially upskill them to a FD.
Otherwise, we will assist you with the recruitment (if required, generally clients want us to be part of the interview panel) and then we will do a full handover when the new person starts – similar to any team member transition.
We will agree with the founder and the new recruit how much support is required and when we can end the engagement. We will always be around to ask questions if you need advice/ guidance further down the line.
What can we expect for a successful engagement?
The goal for the life of the engagement is a solid baseline that can be audited at any time. This includes:
- Strong internal processes and the finance function to be a well-oiled machine operationally
- Interesting and accurate reporting that helps you make the right commercial decisions
- Useful rolling budget and growth model that Investors understand and are interested in
- Improved understanding of the business across the leadership team and insights into how the business can maximise growth and minimise risks
- Strategies to manage cashflow runway and raise investment or other instruments
